BIFF EXPANDED deals with the intersection between film, visual art and new technology. The exhibition consists of hand picked Virtual Reality projects which push the limits and challenge the conventions of digital storytelling. The main theme of this exhibition is empathy, delving into the immersive quality of VR experiences in extreme situations and the reactions it can provoke.
The VR projects can be experienced at Visningsrommet USF at Verftet.
The exhibition is free, and open 21.–27. september between 13:00–21:00.
The BIFF EXPANDED exhibition features Hearts and Minds: The Interrogations Project, Toxi*City, and Three Rails live, along with 8 other VR cinema projects.
